Block Your Driver’s License From Being Viewed Online

Posted by: john In: funny|pictures

This is upsetting. Check your drivers license…

Now you can see anyone’s Drivers License on the Internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and there it was…Picture and all! Thanks Homeland Security. Privacy, where is our right to it?

I removed mine, I suggest you all do the same. Go to the website. Just enter your name, City and State to see if yours is on file.

After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked ‘Please Remove.’ This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement.

Drivers licenses are protected by the Driver Privacy Protection Act (DPPA). Certain driver licensing information can only be released for reasons enumerated in the federal law. The [www.suspendedlicensehelp.com/mass-attorney-rmv-about.asp]Mass. RMV has request forms on its website.

My name is John Veldboom and have been in design and web programing for just over 8 years now. Started off as a hobby in high school but it has developed into a full time job now. I always tell people that if I wasn't doing this at work each day, I would be at home doing it for free. I love it!
